While living in New York City, I met my husband, Alex, after joining the Royal Palms Shuffleboard league. I'll proudly admit that our shuffleboard team went on to be the reigning champions of the league in Fall of 2014, with over 200 teams participating.
As Alex and I approached 5 years of living in the Big City, we started to consider new places to live. After vacationing in Charleston, South Carolina, we fell in love with the Southeast and made our move south in the Summer of 2017.
Alex and I love a good adventure and exploring new cities. Since relocating to Charleston, we have put in the miles and explored the many corners of what the Southeast has to offer. Our adventures have included weekends in Beaufort, Greenville, Savannah, and Augusta; and even longer roadtrips to Atlanta, Charlotte, Raleigh, Asheville, Chattanooga, Nashville, and Memphis. Next on our bucket list is exploring Birmingham, Montgomery, and Mobile, Alabama.
Since our move to Charleston, we've brought three more human beings into this world to join us on our adventures. Our son, Rylan, was born in December 2020. Our daughter, Skyler, was born 15 months later in April 2022. And our last goofball son, Devin, was born in July 2024. Yes, we are in the thick of parenting, but they are worth every diaper change (but I could do without the tantrums).
